DSL and
Satellite Broadband Scotland
With the price of ADSL (broadband)
becoming more cost affective it is important to log your interest
with British Telecom for your community. Home users and businesses
that are interested in the possibility taking up ADSL should
register their interest now to help meet the criteria of BT for
enablement of their local exchange.
To see if your exchange is enabled
and how many people have registered so far please go to the BT
Broadband Availability and Registration Page.
To check the ‘Trigger Level’
required by BT for enablement of your exchange) please check out
ADSLGuide.org.uk
Please note: If your town or area is
not listed, this means it has not yet been given a ‘Trigger Level’
by BT as yet. They will however set one, when enough people have
registered their interest for that particular exchange.
